Nereida launched Direct HR Consulting, LLC in 2016. She is an accomplished Human Resources Professional with over 20 years of experience with providing businesses with HR Process Management along with Human Capital Management. Expertise in Performance Management, Harassment Investigations, Workplace Law & Compliance, Wage & Hour Compliance, Labor Laws (Title VII, ADA and Family Medical Leave Act), Employee Relations, Organizational & Employee Development and Training.
Nereida has extensive experience in Hospitality, Convenience Store and Retail Food Industry, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Transportation, Medical Office, Construction, Non-profit organization and Gaming Industries.
She helps clients with employee communications, development of personnel policies, employee relations, maintaining appropriate HR state and federal compliance practices, facilitating training initiatives and developing HR strategies in line with the client’s company culture. By planning and conducting management training programs i.e. harassment and discrimination training, discipline and documentation training, etc., she helps keep client managers stay on top of their HR game. She’s fluent in Spanish.
Nereida has a degree in Business from Community College of Southern Nevada and studied Business
Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is certified in Human Resources Management and Business Administration.
She remains on top of the industry by active membership in:
- Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM)
- Southern Nevada Human Resource Association (SNHRA)
Nereida enjoys spending time with her family, reading and listening to music. She is married with one child. Nereida also enjoys mentoring up-and-coming HR professionals and new business owners where she shares her knowledge and passion for HR.
