Shauna S. Brennan is founder and principal of Outside General Counsel. Ms. Brennan provides legal advice in real estate matters, including acquisition and development issues and agreements, §1031 tax-deferred exchanges, disposition agreements, leases, construction contracts, and zoning, permit and other governmental processes. Ms. Brennan also advises on business formation, vendor, entertainment, promotion and marketing agreements, and financial transactions and structures, including opinion letters.
Ms. Brennan has held in-house positions as Associate General Counsel at Harrah’s Operating Company and NationsBank (now Bank of America) as well as private law firm positions. Ms. Brennan obtained her Juris Doctorate from Notre Dame Law School (May 1987), where she was a member of Notre Dame Law Review. Ms. Brennan is admitted to practice in Washington (July 2005), Nevada (Oct. 1997), Maryland (Jan. 1988) and the District of Columbia (Nov. 1989). An entrepreneur at heart, Ms. Brennan has owned and operated several businesses, including a real estate brokerage.
